La Tijana

My short story, La Tijana, was featured in Quislaona, A Dominican Fantasy Anthology.

La Tijana tells the story of Pacifica Areche, a young woman who goes deaf after she nearly drowns in a river. Her disability unlocks the ability to hear voices throughout history whenever she is near water.

With this newfound power, Pacifica Areche learns the history of her island in the Caribbean, and what it means to live in the present while honoring the past.

McDonald’s partnered with Keke Palmer to highlight a group of young, Black changemakers who empower their communities.

For the 2023 Black & Positively Golden cohort, I interviewed Aaliyah Duah and Kemia Bridgewater. I formulated the questions, facilitated the conversation between them, and penned the article that is featured on the website.

Sprite celebrated Hip-Hop’s 50th birthday this year with a slew of limited time drops.

REVOLT contributed four iconic vinyls for their Hip-Hop 50th campaign. I penned the intro page and the product descriptions for each vinyl.
